Small, quaint, consistant, good food, friendly staff. The queso in a fried flaunta shell is awesome. Love the steak. Love the bacon wrapped burrito. Home of the 5 lb burrito challenge. So much more to compliment - so little time.

First timer and wow was I impressed. Very delicious very authentic coming from someone who's Mexican. Good service, I can't believe I been living here 4 years and didn't try it sooner. Definitely going back.

The salsa tastes like watered down ketchup and the burrito was a one dimensional, single flavored, pile of garbage. I truly dont see how people eat here. Yuck!

This place is a gem. I think it's the most authentic, highest integrity Mexican food in the area. We go there frequently, and we've never been disappointed.

Good food that wasn't exactly the same as every other restaurant. Nice change of pace. Only things I didn't like were the too thick chips and too thin guacamole. I'd eat here again.

This is a nice little family run restaurant. They offer authentic Mexican food and tex mex. The service is very good and it's a pretty quick in and out. An excellent chip and salsa bar with good options.

La Palma has the best most authentic Mexican food in town! Love their rice and beans so fresh and yum. My fave are their burritos and quesadillas! They're family

Omg food was so yummy if I could of ate more I would of. I live in Lafayette and I'm down here with my boyfriend for a job and this place would be worth driving 2hrs for!!!!

A very friendly and pretty fast if I may say so, fast food place which just happens to be Mexican. They also happen to use Waitr, which also means I can get this at home.

This is absolutely the very best, most authentic, Latin cuisine that you can get south ou I-10. LaPalma is the very best our area has to offer

I ordered the crunchy tacos for lunch, one beef and one chicken. Taco shells were crunchy but were devoid of any corn flavor. In addition, the shells were small.Chicken tasted canned and the beef was okay but neither were seasoned. There was such a miniscule amount of lettuce that one could say there wasn't any on the taco.Rice was bland and lacked seasoning. The beans were inedible and completely tasteless.Waitress was pleasant and decor nice. Salad bar needs salsa. The avocado salsa was watery; hot salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce; and the grilled onions needed salt and more time on the grill.Total cost, $10.70, includes a $2 tip. I don't recommend this place due to the lack of palability of the food. It could be a neat restaurant with massive improvements to seasoning of the food and using better quality ingredients!

A good, quiet, hole in the wall type setting to grab lunch. Their burritos with marinated pork and carne asada are what really make this place. Free self serve chips and salsa bar are also a nice touch.

The flavor of the food is amazing! On a side note Brenda's review below is way off. The all you can eat chips and salsa bar was great. The salsa had just the right kind of kick to it. I had the bacon burrito which was great with a side of sour cream. It was so good I plan on bringing my best friend to eat here when he comes to town. My daughter's tex mex burrito was so huge we had three meals from it as she ate it for left overs. My wives was had two meals and the steak in it was perfectly cooked. I can't say this enough... tons of flavor!!! We will be coming back again. Once again brenda does not know good food.
